What To Expect
Your consultant dermatologist will take a thorough medical history and examine your skin in order to make the diagnosis. Occasionally further investigations might be required to confirm this e.g. biopsy or other tests.
Once the diagnosis has been made, a treatment plan can be formulated. This may comprise treatment with medications or creams, or in some cases, surgery e.g. for removal of cancer or other skin lesions.
If there isn't time to complete the consultation a video call will be made afterwards to finalise the treatment plan (at no additional charge).
Our surgical procedures are undertaken in a state of the art operating theatre. Minor procedures might be undertaken in our CQC-approved consulting rooms. Local anaesthetic is used making for painless procedures.
At Proderm UK, we do not believe in hidden charges so all post-operative care is included in the cost including wound checks, dressings, nursing and stitch removal.
Following your consultation you will have direct access to the consultant by email for ongoing queries, updates and support. There is not additional fee for this.
